Find your forever...

What does forever mean to you? 

For some people, forever means eternity. For me, Forever means true love. It’s not about the length of time you spend with someone. It’s who you choose to spend that time with, no matter how long or short. I’ve heard a very meaningful phrase, “Even one second with the right person is worth more than a lifetime”. 

Find a love that isn’t ideal but real. Find a love that is selfless enough to let you go when you need to breathe. Find a love that is strong enough to conquer the odds. Find a love that is calm and sure, something to make you feel safe and secure. Find a love that is true and only meant for you. 

Find someone who patiently waits. Find someone who is brave enough to fight for you and with you. Find someone you can trust. Find someone who is honest and sincere in his intentions. Find someone who works hard to get you and to keep you. Find someone who is smart enough to teach you and to learn with you. Find someone who is consistently there for you no matter what. Find someone who deserves you. 

We all have our own set of standards. Most often, those standards are so high that no ordinary person can reach it. There’s nothing wrong with that. But in love, we have to find someone real even though it’s not ideal. We don’t live in fairy tales wherein you get to meet prince charming. Where do we find true love? In a church? In a bar? On the street? Nobody knows. Love is mysterious. Sometimes, when we already gave up on love, that’s the time it would come. Nobody is ever ready when it comes. 

We might experience a lot of heartbreaks, we might meet a lot of wrong people who will try to break us before we find our true love. But have courage and be kind. Don’t give up. Find your forever in this world full of whatever.
